Winter brings two Christmas boat parades
Channel Islands Harbor’s parade is in Oxnard, while Ventura Harbor holds a separate celebration in Ventura. The winter edition has each 2026 date and location, alongside the Tamale Festival and Santa to the Sea. A route, parking plan or viewing reservation for one harbor does not apply to the other.
Make room for the regular pleasures
The Sunday harbor market can be a reason to plan a longer breakfast and a waterfront walk. Live music and museum programs also give you options between major festivals. Check the current venue calendar and pick what suits your interests. You do not need a large annual event to make a weekend feel full.
